Geri wants to make her daughter feel more involved
Geri Horner is officially allowing her 10-year-old daughter Bluebell to name her unborn sibling.
The former Spice Girls singer is expecting a child with husband Christian Horner and wants her oldest daughter to feel more involved in her pregnancy.
A source explained: “Geri wants to include Bluebell in the pregnancy as much as possible to ensure she doesn’t feel left out – especially after being an only child for so long.
She’s taken Bluebell along to scans and has given her the role of helping her and Christian choose a name for her new sibling, as well as picking out accessories for the nursery. Bluebell is really excited about having a sister or brother to play with.”
And while Geri was looking forward to a Spice Girls reunion next year, the 44-year-old is no longer sure whether she can participate due to her pregnancy.
The insider shared with Closer magazine: “Geri is desperate to perform but she’s also conscious of rehearsing while heavily pregnant and wants to ensure she puts herself and the baby first. She doesn’t want to let the girls down, but as an older mum, she knows she has to take care of herself.”
Speaking of family, the star previously confessed that her husband is also her best friend, adding: “My husband is my best friend. He knows me inside out, I don’t edit myself with him. It was a big learning curve.
Being happy is the best beauty secret. I wish I’d known that when I was 20, I could have saved myself a lot of money … I’ve wasted so much time trying to find-tune who I am but there’s something so freeing about being kind to yourself and saying, ‘Actually, I’m enough. This is going to have to do.'”
